Steve, I think the dumb investing public is overwhelming bullish, as are dumber pro investors, at least in their comments. Newsletter writers turning bearish bothers me, because they tend to be the dumbest money. But, since they aren't playing with real money, they can change quickly at no cost, so a short term rally, long term collapse would seem to be the contrarian interpretation.

What really bothers me is that so many are catching on to precious metals. Gold has been hot for awhile, but silver and platinum are also starting to gather some attention. That has to happen at some point in a bull run, but I feel more comfortable during a stealth rise in prices. <g>
