have a plum tree that I planted 6 years ago and still no plums :-(....lots of blossoms and the start of plums ..any idea why?

OT but if that's a serious question, is your tree either self-fruitful or getting pollinated from another tree? Lack of pollination would explain blossoms but no fruit. See

Start of ... you may have lack of fertility. Get some horse shit from last year and spread it around the drip line, the edge of the branches.
