Does it [searches by user] exist if you change to Classic or vice-versa?

I've tried both interfaces, with every possible variation of the user ID that I can think of, including the one that used to work, #user-123456. The parameter is being passed along, because zero results are returned when it is used, so it's being treated literally. I don't know why a line or two of logic can't be added to test for #user- or #subject parameters. The data obviously exists in the search index, and the additional overhead would be minimal since the terms would be compared to specific fields.

Inquiring minds will probably never know....
