I am not so sure. I think what the PM's would do is unpredictable with a market crash (which are actually rare only two this century). That would depend on the POG. If USD continues down, all bets are of.

I agree either a slow down drift in the general equity markets or even an on going, sputtering bear market rally would be better.
I continue to feel that the surprises will be on the upside.
I have always felt that a gold rally with silver is unthinkable; today perhaps helps bear that out.
