But remember lots of H1-Bs will eventually get their greencards or citizenships and hence will directly compete with the 'natives'.

Cisco for example, if they hire a contractor now- its US citizen or green card. No H1-Bs they state that explicitly

Because these companies are being sued.

I guess it's because now they are able to hire an US resident with the same skills for the same money.
