Bill I find it a fast read and very interesting up to about chapter 13 , when the bombing starts..I am at chapter 17 now and still a pile of confusion about what to do with the country,, who will run it.. should they take Kabul.. Also during the bombing they really didn't have any major targets... Rumsfeld briefings come off as not genuine. They talk about target hits ,, but not the lack of damage or how minor the targets really were. These chapters leave Bush and go to the war. Perhaps I got a little bored thinking a rehash of old news.

I would buy the book for the Bush meetings with the national security council.. He is in charge! I under estimated his capabilities according to this book... I was always of the opinion he surrounded himself with great leaders! imo this does not down play them , Bush just stands out.

Several more chapters to go... worth reading how complex it is fight a war thousands of miles away without any facilities.
