It is bizarre that you would be suggesting he should have gone to Baghdad.

Actually I never said that. I was making fun of your thoughtless post. I just read it again for the entertainment value. OK..back to posting...I have said before that I admired Bush 41 for turning back...apparently the man has not been able to instill the same respect for international law in his son.

I'm certain Bush 41 hadn't the slightest notion that he would be followed in office by the gross incompetence that WAS the Clinton administration. Had he had any idea that Clinton was going to give Saddam a pass, I think it highly likely he would have had second thoughts.

LOL...this gets funnier by the post. Bush 41 failed on yet another level, according to your sentence, since it is clear that the we have a two party political system in the US. Wait...i get it. He thought no one could possibly overcome his 90+ % popularity in the following election. Surprise!!!

I hate to point out the obvious to you -- the hypocrisy in your statement -- you, who has INSISTED on our engagement with Iraq ONLY through the UN, and chronic complainer about purported US Unilateralism, are now complaining that the former president did PRECISELY AS YOU ARE INSISTING THE CURRENT BUSH DO. He complied PRECISELY with the UN mandate, stopped when the mandate was accomplished. It is bizarre that you would be suggesting he should have gone to Baghdad.

I am sure all Al is trying to point out is your consistent double standard. Its really rather funny how you apply very extacting standards on a president's behavior when it comes to a Bill Clinton but are oh-so-forgiving when it comes to a Bush. Now why do you think that is?

BTW, speaking of reforms, how goes Arkansas's educational improvement program? There's always hope for the next generation.
