was merely answering this comedian that his support of containment is predicated on a non liberal being able to stay in office while the very reason Saddam is still in his is that a conservative president let him .

If you want to talk about comedy, let's talk about the fact that you are literally speaking out both sides of your mouth. You can't have it both ways. Either you support the UN and Bush 41's actions or you are against the UN and shouldn't have complained when you believed he was going to act outside the UN. Which is it?

It is called hypocrisy. An you've illustrated it at its best.

Al, think about it. If Desert Storm was all about oil, we would have deposed Saddam Insane and replaced him with a puppet of the United States. That would have been simple, and world objection be damned. Then we'd have access to more oil than we could ever get from Kuwait.

The conspiracy theory wasn't valid then, and it isn't valid now. Oil is relevant, but only because it gives Iraq the economic power to pursue weapons of mass murder. The whole idea that Bush Jr. lusts after oil is preposterous, a convenient fallback argument for liberals who have nothing better to say.

<you ought to make up your mind as to what the real cause and purpose is...weapons, humanitarian, remake the middle east, other...you have used them all in your arguments.>

My mind is already made up. It's not my fault if you can't figure it out.
