Tenchusatsu,

cnn.com

"CHARLESTON, West Virginia (CNN) -- Surgeons in West Virginia's northern panhandle stayed away from their hospitals for the third straight day Friday, their protest of high malpractice premiums leaving the state government with a case of the jitters over providing adequate health care to its citizens."

Remember how the liberals were going to collect more tax money from the American citizens that wanted to buy an expensive car or boat? What happened? Yes, fewer of those cars and boats were sold.

A lot of politicians are lawyers and a lot of judges are lawyers. If we are not careful, the "family" will be running the country if they are not already. Why do you think convicted criminals are allowed to live on death row for years? $$

It's starting to look like the socialists are trying to take over the country.

Steve

RE:"No wonder I chose engineering over law. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I pursued the latter."

Actually, there is a considerable fallout of Lawyers because some actually have a conscience and can't live with themselves plus the adversarial nature of it.
OTOH, there are plenty left over to take up the slack.

At times Lawyers even take the role of Traitors...
Or so they say.
