Boyd, Rande may be right. Once the war with Iraq starts, and if things don't go to Pentagon plan, the market could dump big time.
Think what would happen if the second day of the Iraq war N.Korea were to invade S.Korea, thus compounding this crazy stuff. I give this 2 out of 10 odds.
Another wild card would be corresponding terror attacks against the US population by sleepers being activated once the war starts.
This would be a worst case scenario of course, but I always try to factor that into my thinking.

On a more personal note, my oldest son was involved in a serious construction accident Friday, so I have spent a lot of time at the hospital, and will be spending more time there for awhile.
