I think yesterday's ISM and order numbers were far more significant than today's auto news (though it doesn't hurt). There's always the question of how much future sales are diminished by discounts and free financing. The consumer is not dead but he is increasingly broke and horribly in debt. Only a real and significant improvement in business spending with associated job creation/rejuvenation will fix that. To that end I do favor all forms of tax reductions/spending reductions and the elimination of most of California's state government! Hey, but that's just one village idiot's opinion (mine)--MK--
