Hey Jake,

I resent your co-opting my nation (NON-STOP ANTI-AMERICAN DRIBBLE!!!) for your partisan ranting.

You are terribly confused. Baldur is anti-Bush, he's certainly not anti-American. I'm astonished you can confuse loyalty to an undeserving man with a more noble patriotism to our great values and national ideals. Baldur vociferously argues for a return to true American values. Honestly, ethical behavior, respect for the family of nations. Bush represents the worst of bully boy behavior on the world stage, hypocritically lusting after Iraq's oil while dismissing his own nostrums when faced with North Korea's insolence. And continually working to line the pockets of those who pay him bribes.

Face facts. George Bush is ethically challenged, he is a tool of the corporations and he's a scoundrel whether you examine his AWOL record in the Air National Guard, his insider trading when at Harken, or his extortion of the nation of Argentina on behalf of Enron. He's about the last person in the country I would identify with what is best about America.

Instead of subscribing to Bush's fear-mongering, how about firing a President who was in charge when our nation suffered its worst domestic attack ever? He failed to protect us. His minions tried hard to get the FBI field offices to stand down and cease to investigate al Qaeda in the first half of 2001 because the investigations were getting to close to some of the Bush family's business associates. Think Bin Laden family. Spirited out of the country in an astonishing get-away while the rest of the nation's air system was completely shut down after 9/11. Bush has some answering to do for that. And what is he doing instead? Trying every devious trick in the book to make sure no one can ever honestly investigate what happened. That is anti-Americanism at its worst.

Please do not confuse your personal loyalty to an illegitimately selected resident of the White House with being patriotic. Bush represents the worst of what the elites in America hope to impose on this nation. Just read the U.S.A. Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Act and you will find that they are drastically anti-American. Yet they are what Bush wants.

Bush and his bribers have imposed a new regime where corporations that are domiciled in tax havens can contract with our Department of Defense. This means that these corporations shirk their responsibilities to our nation, while profiting at the expense of those they consider to be the suckers in this system, the working people of America. Is this anti-Americanism at its most hypocritical? I sure think so. You must think this "wink and nod" wealth transfer from the nation to a rich elite is the American way. If so, I feel sorry for you. This is the way to destroy the nation by transfering its assets to a small cabal of elitists who have no loyalty whatsoever to this great nation, shirking all responsibility for maintaining our nation's domestic infrastructure or the the social programs, including education, that have made this the greatest nation on Earth.

We are being betrayed by our leaders, and George Bush is leading the charge to destroy the best of what America has been. All for the sake of the greed of a tiny corrupt elite. And you are happy with this? I'm amazed.

True patriotism is standing up for our values, not for a poser in the pResidency.
