John, this analysis ignores the fact that the NKs had broken their agreement and were working on a bomb before Bush! How do you explain that fact?

Well, like I said, I'm at level two, possibly level three. So I'm not required to answer all questions. However, here are the parts of an answer.

1. There is some argument as to just what the NKs said to the Bush folk as to when they did so.

2. There is some argument as to whether the US lived up to the terms of the 94 agreement.

3. There is no argument that SK felt undermined by Bush's early war of words with the NKs and wished to proceed with the process initiated under Clinton.

4. And there is no argument that that war of words makes it more difficult to deal with the NK today.

Now, I recognize that's not a call to action, just some loose thoughts. But they point in a different direction.

Sorry, but, unlike you, and I say this with a friendly smile on my face, I don't have ready made opinions for everything.

We have been through this several times already. Three by me alone.
