Another little tidbit this time about the NYSE TICK. I keep a 40 hour EMA of the NYSE TICK for help in warning of extremes in buying or selling. I actually almost forgot I had this chart as I only look at it once in a blue moon. Well as of today that number hit the highest level I have on the chart. I have one other reading which was near this one and it was the week of March 6, 2002. The week of Jan 5, 2002 was also close. Just some more ammunition to use as you see fit.
