Hawk. You said...." What's the threat to peace is militant Islam... Militant Islam is an interpretation of the Koran, just as Christian Crusaders interpreted the bible a thousand years ago in a manner than justified their launching a genocidal war against muslim and jew both... And by labeling all of Islam as a threat, we will be guaranteeing that we eventually are forced to fight all Muslims, instead of giving them a chance to make a choice between moderation and militancy.. I have said in past posts that islam must change and it must be them that changes it from within....Got shot all to hell from you know who for suggesting such a thing for a world religion. Hawk this is what I said in that post....." I believe that there are people in the muslim religion who have nothing whatever to do with violence and want nothing to do with violence but I also think these people may be the minority within islam. I believe that the majority of non violent muslims live in democratic countries...gees wonder why?"..... I have never ever said that all of islam is violent nor do I believe that all of islam is violent. I have said many many times that not all of islam is violent. You said...." That's like Muslims saying the Judaism and Christianity are the biggest threats to peace Lorne... Hawk what I had said was...." I believe that islam is the biggest threat to world peace and stability on this planet today. ".... I have no doubt that islam says this very thing and as a matter of fact it is what they say about the west every day. I can't read what's in the muslim mind but I kind of think they think that other religions are a threat to their own religion instead of world peace. Just my opinion. But if Christianity and Judaism should start killing innocent people all over the world I would critizise them just as strongly as I do islam. I am not a fan of any organized religions but do understand that they have a very important place in the world.
