Bush-Cheney have had a two year honeymoon from the kind of scrutiny Clinton was put under. 9-11 came right in the middle just as Bush was falling to 45%. It saved him. Then last July he was dipping toward 50%. The Iraq War lifted him back up. Bush-cheney has used war, attacks, secrecy and intimidation to minimize investigations into their actions. And now that they control Justice, FERC, the SEC and the EPA they're really in the cat bird's seat.
