I agree about the "long, long way" and I just think it is a Foreign Policy problem which sometimes presents itself as a Bush/Clinton comparison which has nothing to do with WHEN or IF NK Has, Had or is going to HAVE NUKES.

Speaking of North Korea, globalsecurity.org has an interesting satellite photo of the Koreas - South Korea is full of lights, North Korea is dark.

Maybe one reason we have a hard time understanding the North Koreans is that they are backward and ignorant, due to lack of technological advancement.
