The one year chart is interesting: It smells like a wedge (bearish), but can be seen, in fact, as an ascending triangle (bullish). (Maybe this is the secret of some of ED’s when they “don’t work out”: perhaps, their “overshoot” turns out in reality to be a break out of some sort of an ascending triangle…) Perhaps, a better case for an ED can be made if the upper trendline is drawn with the ‘A’ topping in July. The author does not comment on the bearish divergence on MACD, which sports lower highs starting last June.
