Speaking of funny things...did you ever have x-rays taken of your feet when you got new shoes at Red Goose Shoes? Wonder if that's what's wrong with my feet now....hummmmm

Yes, I did, as a pre-schooler in Milwaukee, WI. I think the store was Buster Brown Shoes. I remember the ghostly green color. I think the machine was called a fluoroscope so as not to sound as dangerous as an X-Ray. I don't think it caused me any foot problems, as I was born with flat feet like everyone else. I read somewhere once that most all babies are born with blue eyes and flat feet. My eyes changed to hazel, but my feet are still flat. <g>
