Thanks just the same for the suggestion on trying to part a babe from its mom. There are some things that simply aren't too smart to attempt in our culture. This is one of them.

That's interesting. Here in the U.S. there is a deduction available on income taxes for dependents. And no claims here for cannon fodder, i.e. we have a completely voluntary military. Though I believe the recruiting will become a lot less productive once a shooting war gets underway.
