They work very close with the Goverment, to get what they
want . The only lobby bigger than oil is Wall street.
And
No one wins with pricing going all over the place or supply shortages
Except the people who help create them.

Energy Department Opens Bidding Process To Begin Filling Strategic Petroleum Reserve

RELEASE DATE: January 22, 2002
Last November, President Bush ordered the use of royalty oil transfers to fill the Strategic Reserve up to its 700 million-barrel capacity, calling the Reserve "an important element of our nation's energy security." The National Energy Policy states that the Reserve is designed for addressing an "imminent" disruption in oil supplies, and is not for "managing prices."
