I'm sure there's several that discuss the civil war that's been going on for 30 years or so, and now deteriorating rapidly into anarchy. This is in addition to the drug cartel that operates there. I'll bet Colombia is in the worst 10% of the places to be in the world.

Liz is right on the spelling, but some reverse the C and L - Locombia ... the locombia.org site doesn't work though ... there is so much opportunity for speculation in these Americas outside of the Colombias and Venezuelas, i see no need to take on the risk ... same in Alta California under extremist greenies, or British Columbia under the NDP ... and with the latter, the political risk is not yet removed or even greatly reduced, as our new government really hasn't changed much yet ... at least we have relatively little machine-gunning of priests and turistas, though
