If you think Bush's record of disciplinary problems (failing to obey an order, suspended from flying)... or attendance problems (admitted to... 'corrected' by tacking 6 more months on to his service period... for which he didn't show up either:) are irrelevant to his abilities as CIC, I won't argue with you. It's your right to hold such opinions (such as your opinion that Clinton's lack of military service is also not relevant to CIC abilities). But, when electing public leaders, it is up to each member of the public to make up their own minds about the qualities they see in the candidates.
