Re Tsco:
The first thing to like is the stock performance
finance.yahoo.com

Not many women shoppers there unless they own horses, in which case they send a man to buy I guess
Here is what my local store carries.
tractorsupply.crossmediaservices.com
Its much more interesting to visit than to read the list of items
Each store carries different products oriented to the local economy
You can insert a zip code and find what your local store carries
They also have many specials which are not shown on-line

Their advantage is responding to customers wants by location and season, fans in summer, heaters in winter, pet supplies in cities, horse and cattle supplies in the country, etc
Last year they bgt many stores from a bankrupt chain and converted them to TSCO outlets. Thats how they got the extra 100 store with a minimum investment

How to handle the stock?
Always a risk, but they have only had one split. They should be good for one or two more. I would sell on the next split and then if still looking OK, would buy back on the post-split dip
