Jon,

There has not been a major recall of Nokia CDMA phones lately, so Hop on does not have any inventory.....(8^)

The article was about the intro into Wisconsin of the Hop-On disposable phones. Since phones must be sanctioned by carriers, the introduction of phones isn't always national.

Fluent Wireless L.L.C., a unit of Cellcom in De Pere, the carrier now supporting the Hop-On phones, isn't one of our bigger carriers.

The intro into WI, however, does significantly increase the odds that the phone will be puicked up by other carriers, but there are no assurances.

A while back there was quite a bit of discussion here about whether Hop-On was a real company or was a stock scam. The intro of their phones in Wisconsin would seem to diminish the power of the scam supporter's case.
