can amzn compete in electronics with bestbuy.com? They are doing it, we'll have to see the numbers. wii yahoo, aol, others take lion's share of ecommerce? Actually I think the sentiment now is that yahoo is in jeapardy of losing to Microsoft the "general portal" status. I can't see it myself but I don't do anything with MSN so who knows. The retail portal concept is supposed to be gaining with strength in amazon. AOL has other problems but who knows, they could be a good investment at these levels with all the time warner media. You can play the retail portal and portals in general by buying the google ipo when it comes out if the price is reasonable... they all use google so you don't need to pick the winner. Lizzie
