The changing demographics are going to be death for American companies that rely on the old brand loyalty by middle America. The new immigrants will have no such allegiance and will have different tastes. They're closing two McDonald's near me.

I was there when the IBM PC XT with 512k ram & the HUGE 10MB hard drive
was being purchased for $5400 by my company (monochrome of course).
I've always been waiting for Greenspan's "productivity miracle" to hit the
US auto industry. Sure's been a long wait <g>!
