Hope you sold quickly like I did. October was a nice trading month. I unloaded everything but Halliburton and a few almost worthless Palm shares I might as well hang onto to. I expect there may be a new bottom put in this year and waiting for it to buy again, then maybe hold for years. Halliburton is a good hedge against higher state taxes and energy prices during the Bush-Cheney era. Their entire foreign policy is custom-made to benefit a company like Halliburton. Its division Brown and Root built the bases in Vietnam in the 60's and 70's. Huge federal expenditure there and their #1 lobbyist is the Veep himself.
