I'm working for John Kerry as a volunteer. I wouldn't work for him unless I was convinced he's the best man for the job and can beat Bush. The main reason he can win is that he can take away much of the military issue from Bush. If Bush tries to defend himself, voters can compare military records. AWOL vs. Silver Star hero. Kerry will also demolish Bush in debates and towers above him physically. He's also for 850 million which means the GOP fundraising advantage (all those many days Bush spend raising money at our expense) is nullified. A lot of money will be needed to counter just the kind of dishonest character assasination attacks that are taking place on this board. And Kerry will not have to rely on the DNC financially.
