Been watching CDE every day trying to get a handle on its trading patterns. Also MNG & ABX (P/E 240, ouch). I think the Metals are going to be the place the be in the Spring and Summer. I am still doing DD on that sector. I believe that 2003 is really going to be bad. I don't think we've remotely seen the bottom in the Markets. We've not had the flushouts that we need, you know the kind of day where the Dow is down 1400 points intraday, and rallies and finishes down only 700. I don't know if Market curbs and the PPT would allow that in one day, but then it would be spread out over three days etc.... I still haven't seen the FEAR that we need. And I mean real fear, not just resignation and disgust. I've see where a majority of 'experts' are looking for a 20% gain in the DOW & NAZ for 2003, how, where are the earnings going to come from? I hope they are right but I suspect they're just trying to drum up business for their firms.
