Kerry would pick Edwards if he cannot get McCain.
He and McCain are best friends. McCain wouldn't even have to leave the GOP. It would be a big breath of fresh air in America. Real bipartisanship between two men who can both rip Bush to shreds. But if Kerry and Edwards run they still have a very good chance. What a dynamic pair. They'd be very inspiring. Atacks would bounce right off them.

Bush may replace Cheney though. If he picks Frist we could have a really close race. Just because he's a doctor. But a doctor whose brother runs a giant HMO. Frist is vulnerable.

I am assuming the economy does not pick up within the next 18 months by the way, that Iraq is over and that the world is still a tense place. I don't see how Bush can solve these problems with his current policies. people will be hurting and in need of a fresh change.
