Affected accent? where did you hear that? I talked with Kerry a few months ago and he has a normal voice. Just want to correct you because obviously you'venever spoken with him. John told me he'd recently been in South Carolina where he was overwhelmed by the terrific support he'd gotten there, even from Republicans. Mainly based on his undeniable war credentials and keen understanding of the military. But also because he tells the truth, doesn't use phony slogans and doesn't spin. Kerry talked at the Citadel, about as right-wing an organization as there is in American, and they gave him a standing ovation, after heckling him initially. He won them over fast. Expect the same around the country. Doesn't matter what state he's from. But he will choose a running mate like Edwards or McCain to help with the hicks. No offense, I used to be a hick myself. But if anyone thinks Kerry wont win over people everytwhere they have a surprise coming.
