November elections were won with the Iraq War. Bush's bully pulpit got enough people patriotic about fighting Iraq it was very difficult to talk about any other issue. He also dominated media coverage. But Bush was dishonest and the timing of the Iraq War was strictly about the election. He can get away with that once. If he tries it again in 2004 (unless we are attacked) he's a dead duck. if not for the Iraq War push democrats would have fared much better. because people would have been talking about the economy. Also I think it was important to get Gore out of the way. the Clinton era is officially over now so onmly the new leader (Kerry in my opinion) need matter. Kerry will start withering Bush with substantive attacks and keep on hammering him until 2004. Every one of his attacks will be honest, measured and accurate. Little by little Bush will be shown up for what he really is, and isn't.

Mike the 9-11 problems still require resources. Crimes of the past are there and will be goten to.

1996 clinton re-election campaign crime revealed and sanctioned in 2002 was it. So I figure all the enron and other stuff is scheduled for 2006 to 2007. Again delayed by 9-11. Off course it could start on 2005 and run a normal 2yr course.

I'm sure the dems will get their wishes exposing corporate crime. Molly will be a happy camper... LOL..
