we are now in a renter's paradise, I am content being one
I have been citing higher property taxes all year long as a primary push motivation behind the broken real estate bubble
it is coming according to plan

last week I talked to a nice younger woman at a restaurant
(tried to pick her up, but didnt work out)
she said her mother sold her suburban house rather than pay sharply higher property taxes
this effect will spread like wildfire
it will be accompanied by job losses also
several factors will push real estate over the edge
e.g. car sector layoffs

in 2-3 years I intend to purchase one of those Boston area townhouses up for sale in foreclosure
got a smart friend who knows that avenue well
