tfrugal--I think there could be some scenarios where the U.S. would use a first nuclear strike. Waging wars on three continents could be one reason. What worries me is fronts in each of those areas are opening up. I'm in a hurry right now and can't get into a deep discussion on this right now. I'd enjoy hearing what others think on this subject.
