How do you see the Brazilian situation?

IMO Lula is attempting what the Ortega's attempted with Nicaragua (on a much grander scale of course). Feign moderation, appoint a few quasi capitalists cabinet members for show and US aid, and hope you get a pass for 12-18 months without real scrutiny... and then make your move.

What happens with Chavez will greatly impact how far Lula takes it.

My hopes that Chavez listen to VZ and depart peacefully (or hold the referendum/elections and lose with dignity).

Wishes of safety for you and your family, david.
