they did switch to plastic, but i understand
they are going back to glass. the plastic
ones weren't as durable.

the one i found is about 5" in diameter and
still has the netting on it and it has a little
water inside which apparently means that it was
dragged way down deep and was under tremendous
pressure.

it's a treasure!

didn't get to do any claming - the tides weren't
right. they have to be very low. besides, its
too damn cold!
