Hi DJ, You read too much Noland and are going blind to the facts, therefore do not know the truth;0)

DJ parsing your prose: <>>The debt has already poisoned the system<< this is what some estimated members of the thread do not see as a problem, or even as a fact - I will not mention any names, to avoid ruffling CB and Mq:P
Well, we can still hope that truth will set us all free - albeit (*) not debt-free.

(*) I like this word - it sounds so pompous;

I hope you mean esteemed members, not estimated members. I don't see debt as poison, or even a problem, other than for those who borrowed and can't repay and those who loaned the debtors the money and can't get it back. Debt is an excellent means of smoothing and accelerating economic activity. Debt delivers goods and services to people who really need them now and hence enabling economic activity which otherwise wouldn't take place for a long time, if ever.

On albeit being pompous, you need to use bigger words than that to be pompous and preferably use them slightly out of kilter. There's nothing like a big word used in the wrong place to convey pomposity. Persiflage with pomposity is fine. Hahaha! Now you all have to go and look up persiflage.

Anyway, didn't you mean "arbeit will set us all free", not albeit?
