North America is Indian land. Americans took it by force.

The problem is that you can't detemine which Indian tribe originally inhabited it...

As for "owning" it.. most Indians had little concept of "property rights"..

And thus it is for the Jews and Arabs with Palestine... Do we go back to Israel.. or Canaan... or Eygpt...

Thus, the land is the land... it's who's strong enough (physically or politically) to occupy it that is the ultimate determiner of who owns it..

I am not aware of any land that is still really "owned" by Aborigines. Certainly none in Europe or Asia. All land was originally taken by force.
