The Hawaii landowner might be Alexander & Baldwin (Nasdaq: ALEX), which owns
91,000 acres of land there, and has been there since 1870. It's the largest
landowner on Maui, and the fifth-largest in Hawaii as a whole.

There's another Florida land company which is very undervalued - it get profiled in Barron's about every two years, and still doesn't move much. Name maybe Arvida or Deltona..can't remember.

The stock is like 20% of book vlaue based on land acquisiton prices from the 1950s on to about 1970, so maybe 3% of real book.

Stock doesn't trade much. You buy it and it sits there for another year. After a while, you start to appreciate what Keynes said about the long run...
