North Korea has 1-3 million soldiers heavily armed and while we're busy in Iraq could potentially over-run South Korea. This is a far greater clear and present danger than Saddam attacking US interests. It's obvious. Why debate it? North Korea's even more nuts than Saddam. They think the US government put out the latest James Bond film. At least Saddam would know better that that. North Korea is led by a mad dictator. No one knows what he might try. Even neo-conservatives know they're probably going to have to pay NK off to stay in their place. They accuse Clintonites of doing this but what's the alternative? NK is not scared of our military might, especially when they know we have no interest in making war with a dangerous country that has no oil to grab.
