Howdy Quincy,

Have fun with the Crooked E movie. <g>

In 1997 I was living in San Francisco. I recall reading a few articles in the Bay Guardian about the proposed de-regulation of the electricity market. They liberally quoted a spokesman for T.U.R.N. who correctly predicted disaster. Not in all the specifics, but in the general nature of the screwing that California was about to receive.

Of course, when it came to the negotiations in Sacramento led by Steve Peace, the consumers advocates like T.U.R.N. were locked out of the room. No consumers group had any input into AB 1890. And therein lies the rub.
