Yeah, you spout the demohack party line word for word, don't you have an original thought of your own? Apparently not... weeks ago, Rush predicted the demohacks would change their label to progressive because they're so embarrassed with the name liberal... hahahahahahhha...

re:"progressive means forward-looking, no right or left necessary. More moderate, liberal on some things, conservative on others. Like most people in the US."

LOL
Do you really know what Progressive has meant, the past 75 years? In America, it is usually to the left of Liberal!

Progressive Party

"In 1924 the Committee of 48, custodians of the Progressive party label, united with the SOCIALIST PARTY, the railroad unions, and the American Federation of Labor behind the independent candidacy of Robert M. La Follette"

"In 1947-48 the cold-war policies of President Harry S. TRUMAN caused a major break within the left wing of the DEMOCRATIC party. The defectors, who favored more cooperative relations with the USSR, organized as the Progressive party and nominated Henry A. WALLACE for president in 1948. The party advocated such programs as repeal of the Taft-Hartley Act and the reestablishment of price controls and won the endorsement of the U.S. Communist party."
