<<And besides, I pointed out in an earlier post that
this is the honor system anyway--nobody has to send
a check to Ron's cause.>>

Than, none has to send a check to anyone’s charity. Than, why contest with pledge?

We entered contest with OBLIGATION to forward our pledge, regardless who wins.

While his portfolio is subject to interpretation, his charity choice does not fold under spirit if this contest.

IF I can not complete my pledge I will exit contest, not at the end ignore my duty.

<<Finally, the penny stock issue--yeah, the rules are
clear enough. I would be happy to throw out my CEN.l
(CPHAF) penny stock--although I have not year been
chastized like Ron has;-)>>

I guess I prefer the portfolio's at least have a semblance of reality and be investable. To be honest I think your 100K share purchase at 5 cents is maybe a tad more realistic than Ron's but wouldn't pass muster if I were the judge and jury.

Nice to see the positive start to the year. I would venture to guess my porfolio from last years contest saw exactly zero days above break even. I'm sure others were largely the same. Let's hope it lasts!
