KLP,

Thank you. As John pointed out, it is a short and very general statement. It does capture what I think is the core of what is new about American foreign policy since 9-11 (this is what I call the 'excellence' policy). It might be time to try and write something longer on the idea and see how it flushes out.

First, I better read tekboy's new book so that I know something about foreign affairs first.
