Higher tax rates for rich has NOTHING to do with socialism...

It is called redistribution of wealth and it has everything to do with socialism.

It certainly isn't capitalism......it's called confiscation, and has been sold as "social programs" for decades by liberals.

Your idea of fair is to literally take what someone has worked hard for and belongs to one man and give to another less ethically inclined man based on some outdated government theory. It is obvious that liberals would rather continue the failed policies of reward for non-productivity.

Note: We are strictly talking about those who are ABLE to work here stock leader.

Productive individuals resent this and consider over taxation government theft.....especially when the government statistician doesn't offer a remedy, but instead just continues to advocate the same old taking from those more able to afford the theft.

There is a national movement taking place among all taxpayers (not just the so called rich) that is demanding government accountability and an explanation as to why tax confiscation is necessary, and how confiscated tax money is being spent. (These are honest questions....taxpayers deserve an answer.) Take a look what happened in Washington state last Nov. for proof.

Also, taxpayer groups are starting to offer up alternative programs designed to give those less fortunate a helping hand AND a way out of poverty. The socialists in congress are especially hysterical.

Anyone that owes $30K in tax who doesn't pay "voluntarily" will have his assets confiscated and sold to satisfy the debt. Your illustration of someone who had $100K in self-employment income bitching, moaning and crying is probably real, but he didn't get off scot free......I can guarantee it.

All taxpayers want is information. They won't just roll over and be raped any longer by those in a position to "know better." The tax and spend 60s and 70s has taught us that much.

The status quo of social give and take is being challenged.......and rightfully so...... by the very people being taken advantage of. Once and for all the questions being asked over and over will not go away. Much to the displeasure of socialists.

Unfortunatly for liberals the way traditional social programs run are being questioned by taxpayers because they feel like they are not getting the best bang for the buck and feel cheated.

As far as I can see, liberals are the ones doing all the whining, moaning and crying lately.

Do you own a dictionary?

\So"cial*ism\, n. [Cf. F. socialisme.] A theory or system of social reform which contemplates a complete reconstruction of society, with a more just and equitable distribution of property and labor.

So your rob(tax) the rich and give it to the poor posture is socialist in nature.

If you want to discuss fairness lets talk about what a rich taxpayer gets from the government compared to a low income one. They get equal access to public education(although the rich taxpayer will probably not use any of it), national security, highway and communications infrastructure etc.

So tell me why should in a fair system if a low and high income tax payer get the same amount of services from the government shouldnt they pay the exact same amount?

So the sytem as it stands is unfair. Now to be practical you have to get more money from people who have more of it. That doesnt mean it is fair or equitable it is just a practical necessity.

Come on, it doesnt take a CPA to understand this.

And please save the personal insults for your inner family circle.
