I see someone has already posted a leaked version of what we plan to do. It calls for an 18 month occupation, trials of Senior Leaders, and out. Laughable, of course. Not entirely laughable, I think. I’ll talk about that in some detail in my next post. We are up against some very nasty people who hate us, and will continue to try to hurt us any time they get a chance. We are going to have to set on them in the ME. We will have to set on them wherever they are, and that’s not only in the ME. As I said before, I think that we will find that it’s not really a job for which large-scale military force will prove to be the most effective tool.
