What is a "utopian analysis"?

Not dealing with the actual reality in analyzing the facts..

Jong has made a MAJOR escalation of brinksmanship, in hopes that the West will cave in once to his blackmail...

Setting up face to face negotiations with Jong is EXACTLY what he wants.. This is a guy who actually believes the more he is discussed in the media, the more powerful his leverage actually is.. That's he's "relevant"...

And just like any spoiled child, he interprets attention, even if negative, into a bargaining point.

But the reality is that Korea is not nearly as strategic as the oilfields of the middle east. Yes.. it could set in motion some regional turmoil, but neither China, nor the US, wish to see their forces once again engaged in war against one another as a result of more of N. Korea's BS..

As for other nations acquiring nukes, Japan has EVERYTHING they need to do it on their own right now.. They have the technological know-how, the manufacturing base, and the uranium/plutonium... The only thing that has prevented their doing so thus far as been anti-nuke public opinion and the US nuclear umbrella.. (which appears to be leaking)..
