You ignore that Republicans are in charge. They won the election and have the responsibility for cutting costs and balancing the budget. We can't expect the Democrats to do it. They lost the election.

What we need to do is so simple to say, we need to stop spending. Unfortunately, both parties are addicted to it. The people are addicted to receiving it. Anytime anyone tries to cut spending, they are called all sorts of evil names.
