Jeff suspended me for a week once. Considering what I did (shot the living H out of the Donkey's Inn thread over a weekend when Jeff was gone and the threadhead couldn't ban me because of that "multiple alias" catch), that was merciful. I don't hold it against him. I deserved it and I worked hard to earn it. :-) I assume TokyoJoe has already been nominated. No way we got into the 400's without that name coming up. Oh, yeah. Tokyo made it in the 4th post. Nobody could outtout Tokyo. Jonathan Lebed made it in that one too. I loved Alan Abelson's comment on Lebed in Barrons. Something like "What Mr. Lebed fails to understand is the Securities and Exchange Commission requires that you have a Series 7 license to tout stocks on the scale he did." if someone's "crime" is being a tout If being a tout is a crime, then Wall Street must be a prison. Or, as Lebed's father said, he did nothing different than those guys do every day. Remember MusicGuy? Nah. Never ran into him. Or Miller. I always miss all the fun. :-) he was doing a disservice to other members if he kept getting himself thrown out of the game on technicalities. So what was your take on that endless war on the original Boxing Ring (now Sharks in the Septic Tank) Subject 50472 involving myself, Chris Hodgkin, Poet, E, jlallen, Bill, and a cast of thousands? Man, I was surprised there weren't a number of executions during that war. I reinstated him and his next post was a very calmly-worded yet forceful and irrefutable excavation of Miller's backside. That's the best way to do it. Calm. Factual. And carve 'em a new (&(#Q(. :-)
